Dobson High School has a proud basketball tradition. Collectively and individually we have had a great deal of success. We have had over 20 of our players in the past seven season have the opportunity to play basketball beyond high school. We have had a player of the year, most outstanding player of the state championship, multiple players recognized as all state caliber performers, and even a coach of the year. In just the past three season the Mustangs have moved on to the FINAL FOUR in 2012 and WON the STATE CHAMPIONSHIP in 2010.
Our goal is very simple...we want to represent our team, school, and community extremely well.
What we believe and what we know
We believe in being a part of something bigger than ourselves.
We believe that collectively we can attain greatness.
We believe there is a right way and an easy way.
We believe that what we put into it we’ll get out of it.
We believe in training so hard that the games are easy.
We believe our comfort zone is our enemy.
We know that nothing worth having is easy.
We know championship moments are made when no one is watching.
We know someone else sacrificed to help us succeed.
We know we will pass on a Legacy.
